Fourth of July sales will be upon us in no time with the annual holiday just under a month away. With some of the best deals of the year set to launch at major retailers like Walmart, Best Buy, Target, Amazon and more, there will be savings for everyone. We’ll be on the lookout for the best Fourth of July sales as they happen and we’ll round them all up below.
Before the sales kick off in earnest, we’re also guiding you through what to expect from Fourth of July sales in 2023 and where to shop for the best offers based on years of previous experience.
When do Fourth of July sales start?
Though the Independence Day holiday occurs on Tuesday, July 4 this year, we expect that Fourth of July sales will start much earlier. Last year, most of the biggest Fourth of July sales kicked off in late June so we don’t have long to wait until we start seeing major savings. Once live, expect many Fourth of July sales to continue into the second week of July and merge with Amazon Prime Day deals, which we expect will launch that week.
Where are the best Fourth of July sales?
Fourth of July sales offer some of the best prices on tech, appliances, mattresses and fashion and a ton of retailers participate in the holiday savings. Unsurprisingly, Amazon is usually one of the best places to buy since it sells products from almost all of the major brands across all these popular categories, making it a tremendous one-stop shop for all of your Fourth of July buys. Outside of Amazon, we recommend checking out appliance and tech sales at Best Buy and Lowe’s, as well as holiday sales on a huge variety of categories at the likes of Walmart, Target and Nordstrom.
Should I shop Fourth of July sales or wait for Prime Day deals?
There’s no definitive way to say whether Fourth of July sales or Prime Day deals are best. Both sales offer some of the best prices we’ll see all year and, in all likelihood, the two sales are going to blur into one big discount jamboree this year given their expected proximity.
Fourth of July sales offer more variety in which retailers you can shop, though much of your shopping may take place on Amazon anyway and plenty of non-Amazon retailers will keep their sales rolling through mid-July. Since you’ll be able to shop so many Fourth of July sales in just a few weeks, you’ll be able to check out the early deals, grab what you need and then keep tabs on Prime Day deals later for anything you miss out on.
