Amazon unveiled its latest Echo Dot smart speaker at its annual hardware event on Wednesday. The updated Dot should sound better than ever with a redesigned audio architecture, and it’s also capable of functioning as a Wi-Fi mesh extender for Eero routers. If you’re yet to go all in on mesh routers, Amazon is giving you the chance to save on one by bundling the new smart speaker with an Eero device at a $19 discount

Eero’s Wi-Fi router works with most major internet service providers and, together with this Echo Dot, provides up to 2,500 square feet of Wi-Fi coverage to your home for $100. The bundle deal also applies to the updated Echo Dot with Clock at just $10 more.

According to Amazon, the new Echo Dot speaker puts out up to twice as much bass as previous generations, all from within the same, spherical build. It also features new sensors that enable tap gestures on the top of the device.

If you already have a fourth-gen Echo Dot and an Eero router, you’ll be able to unlock the same Eero Wi-Fi extending capability via a free software update on Oct. 20.
