It also has built-in Alexa, so it’s perfect if you already have other Amazon devices, like a smart speaker, at home. And to top it off, it also comes with three free months of Apple TV.

55 to 65 inches

TVs in the 55- to 65-inch range are generally perfect for most living rooms — offering a large enough screen for easy viewing without overwhelming the space. And there are tons of excellent bargains available in this range right now, including a $600 discount on our top pick for the overall best TV of 2025.

TCL/CNET

The best overall TV right now, in CNET’s opinion, is the TCL QM8. It has a bright screen with excellent contrast, as well as full-array local dimming. It uses Google’s TV platform and is relatively affordable, especially right now, as Best Buy has slashed the price of the 65-inch model by $600.

Sony/CNET

This 65-inch Sony has 4K resolution, along with Dolby Vision, HDR 10, HLG and XR Motion Clarity for solid picture quality. It also has a 120Hz refresh rate and works with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.

Pioneer/CNET

You can’t beat this price. Marked down to just $200, this affordable 55-inch TV still offers 4K resolution, giving you clear images. You’ll be able to catch every pass with the 60Hz refresh rate. It even has a direct lit backlight, giving you bright color and high contrast.

Over 65 inches

You know what they say — go big or go home. If you want the most immersive viewing experience possible for the big game, there are tons of massive TVs in the 65- to 100-inch range that you can snag with discounts of more than $1,000 right now.

LG/CNET

This stunning 77-inch OLED model is still fairly new to the market and has 4K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, as well as support for HDR and Dolby Vision. LG’s OLED TVs are firm favorites here at CNET and this one will make the big game feel as grand as it’s meant to be.

When is the Super Bowl? 

This year, the Super Bowl will be on Sunday, Feb. 9, in New Orleans. It’s the 59th Super Bowl game (or LIX if you’re Roman). The Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Philadelphia Eagles and Kendrick Lamar will headline the halftime show.
