Disney is among the many retailers that have launched Pride collections for 2023, with apparel, toys, home decor and more from the House of Mouse, Marvel, Star Wars and more.
It’s almost Pride Month, when members of the LGBTQ community and their allies rock rainbow-colored swag and brands put a spotlight on diversity and inclusivity.
Of course, there’s a lot more to Pride than shopping. It’s important to stand up for LGBTQ friends and family, support queer-owned businesses and back leaders that oppose discrimination.
According to the American Civil Liberties Union, by May 22, there were already at least 490 anti-LGBTQ bills sponsored in state legislatures across the US this year.
That’s more than twice as many as were introduced all of 2022.
The Pride offerings CNET has selected for 2023 — which include T-shirts, sneakers, watches, cosmetics and more — aren’t just awesome, they come from retailers that are giving a portion of proceeds (or just making substantial donations) to vital organizations like The Trevor Project, the Human Rights Campaign and Trans Lifeline.

Apple’s new Pride watch band for 2023 integrates a rainbow of geometric shapes on a white base, and no two bands are exactly the same. Available in 41mm and 45mm sizes, the band is compatible with Apple Watch Series 3 and later models.

Apple is continuing its support of LGBTQ organizations like the Human Rights Campaign, the National Center for Transgender Equality and the Equality Federation Institute, a network of state-based advocacy groups.

The Walt Disney Company supports LGBTQ nonprofits throughout the year, including the Ali Forney Center, the Los Angeles LGBT Center, PFLAG and Orlando’s Zebra Youth Coalition.
For Pride 2023, Dr. Martens collaborated with queer Japanese illustrator Fuyuki Kanai on a new edition of its classic 1460 boot.
The Fuyuki For Pride 1460 presents manga-inspired drawings on a white leather upper, contrasted with pops of red across the welt stitch, aglets and AirWair heel loop.
Dr. Martens is continuing its sponsorship of the Trevor Project with a $200,000 donation.
Coach’s Pride collection for 2023 celebrates the iconic gay getaway of Fire Island with custom logos calling out mainstays like Cherry’s on the Bay, the Belvedere guest house, the Pines Pantry and the Blue Whale.
Designed by lead designer Bonnie Cashin, Coach debuted its iconic Cashin Carry in 1969, the same year as the Stonewall Uprising. Her namesake design is perfect for that weekend trip to the Pines or Cherry Grove: A buttery-soft leather tote with an open compartment, multifunction pockets and an easy magnetic closure.

This year, Adidas is continuing its partnership with Athlete Ally, a nonprofit focusing on ending homophobia and transphobia in sports.
